Submission Guidelines
Regular Papers
- ISSAC 2021 invites the submission of original research contributions to be considered for publication and presentation at the conference. Papers should not duplicate work published or submitted for consideration elsewhere.
- Papers must be in English and should not exceed 8 pages in the ACM two-column style, found at: http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template which can be downloaded from: https://www.acm.org/binaries/content/assets/publications/consolidated-tex-template/acmart-primary.zip.
- Submissions in other article styles are also accepted, but the revised version after rebuttal phase must be at most 8 pages when compiled in the ACM style [sigconf, twocolumn] (equivalent to about 17 pages of letter size paper, typeset in 12pt with normal spacing and reasonably large margins).
- Extended abstracts are not allowed.
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper.
- Submission is via EasyChair, at the web site https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=issac21.
Short Communications and Software Presentations
- The short communications session at ISSAC is a venue to announce early research results or ongoing projects that might not yet be complete. Short communications reporting on recent work published or accepted or submitted elsewhere are also welcome (with original publications clearly referenced). Short communications at ISSAC'21 replace the physical posters of traditional in-person ISSAC conferences.
- The software presentations at ISSAC are for demonstrating and communicating about new developments in software for symbolic and algebraic computation. Presentations are welcome for software based on previously published algorithms and mathematics. The format of presentations at the conference should make it possible to include a live software demonstration when appropriate.
- Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in PDF of no more than five pages using the SIGSAM LaTeX style (sigconf, 11pt, single column) and the CCA templates available at www.sigsam.org/cca/.
- Authors of accepted contributions are expected to present their work at the symposium.
- Submission is via EasyChair, at the web site https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=issac21. Authors will be given the option to submit either a Short Communication or a Software Presentation. Please, select the right track.
