Travel Information
There is almost no public parking space available in the area, so we highly suggest using public transport. The best choices here are:
- U-Bahn (Subway) Linie 2, Stop "Theresienstrasse"
- Tram, Linie 27, Stop "Pinakothek"
- Bus, Linie 53, Stop "Arcisstrasse"
(cf. the image to the right). You can use the page of Munich public transportation (MVV) to find your connections.
To get from the airport to the center of Munich (e.g. Hauptbahnhof, Main Station), get a blue "Streifenkarte" and validate/stamp 8 stripes. You can use the "S-Bahn" lines S8 or S1.

There is a special offer of TUM and Deutsche Bahn.
On the registration desk, we offer a Conference Ticket for public transport. The 2-day ticket is 8€, every additional day is 3€. The ticket is valid in the whole "Münchener Innenraum". For an additional 3.60€ the trip back to the airport can be included, too.
Visa
For informations on visa, plese refer to the Table of countries whose citizens require/do not require visas to enter Germany of the German foreign ministry.
